- Reviewed in the United States on September 27, 2018It was in fairly good condition. I ordered it for my younger sister but since her school ended up providing her with the textbook, I returned it. It was in a good condition for a good price.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 27, 2021This book is difficult but a good book.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 2, 2019I need to know the address of the distributor. I want to return the book!
- Reviewed in the United States on November 18, 2020This book has the information to learn C++, but the organization of the material doesn't flow well at all. The authors apparently recognized this because there is a flowchart in the front that shows several different pathways for reading the book, and I personally couldn't find a version that made sense. I've seen other books and online resources that have better control of the progression of material, and this one seems disorganized to the point of being distracting and confusing. Another point that seems to add to confusion is the tendency to beat around the bush with heavy repetition. Again, the information is there, but using this book to teach/learn the material in a logical order will be a struggle. I would have chosen a book with better organization and flow if this had not been an assigned textbook.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 18, 2023For the record, the 1 star is for the KINDLE port itself, not the content of the book. Diagrams aren't viewable, chunks of text are in weird places. I spent an hour trying to figure out a setting where I would see one page at a time like the hard copy would be, and just couldn't . If you're using a digital book, this is not the one for you. Get the one from the publisher, or the pdf version. I would return it, but because I was proactive in purchasing, I am past the return window by 3 days.
