- Reviewed in the United States on March 29, 2025I used this book to pass my exam. It has everything you need, even if it is a dry read. I have recommended it to several friends who are studying for the exam. It was definitely worth the read.

The price savings is significant on Amazon.com, and I got a great deal on the hardback. I like the book so far, but I wish it went into more discussion around FIPS 203, FIPS 204, and FIPS 205 on quantum cryptography.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2023This book is great. I've read a few other CISSP books and they aren't as entertaining as this book. Additionally, the authors provide a lot of the reasons why and the history of the technologies they're discussing. For this reason, I'm remembering a lot more since I know the "why" it is the way it is.
So much easier to remember things when you know why they are the way they are. And so much more engaging too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent as a primary source for exam preparation
I passed the CISSP exam in January 2025 after getting asked the minimum of 100 questions and this is my take of this book.
I first read Mike Chapple's book (9th edition) and then this All-in-One guide. I then read the Destination CISSP book. Overall, I liked the comprehensiveness and explanations of this book most, it can be used almost as a single source for preparing for the exam, maybe even a single source. I have just a few doubts since the exam content was last revised in August 2024 and this book hasn't been updated since. The book comes with thousands of test questions, mostly written good, but just like the other books, they were not exam-realistic, yet still very useful for reinforcement of concepts. If the authors update this book with the latest exam content, I will confidently recommend this book as a single source for exam preparation.

3.0 out of 5 stars Does not always explain concepts well
As an engineer I find a lot of text in this book overly fluffy and often poorly explained (e.g. recursively defined). For example I answered less than half of the questions of the first chapter correctly after reading it the first time.

1.0 out of 5 stars Problème d'impression
Le livre est très mal imprimé avec régulièrement des pages où l'encre est si faible que ça devient difficile à lire. Où est le contrôle qualité ?
